Communicating a truly unique B2B service offer

Brymec - Brymec Breeze

A manufacturer and distributor of quality valves, tubes, fittings and support systems for the building services industry, Brymec have always prided themselves on providing the most effective, future-proofed mechanical and electrical solutions. However, their impact goes far beyond the product. In an industry associated with long and convoluted supply chains, which have been the bane of existence for project managers, design managers, technical managers, and design and environmental consultants for decades, Brymec does things differently. They deliver products directly to building sites from their distribution centres, with no middlemen and a single point of contact. This is at the heart of their overall service offering, which they named Brymec Breeze. Bell was commissioned to launch the Brymec Breeze concept to market.

Our response

We began by designing a brand mark for Brymec Breeze, which contained the Brymec logo, to enable it to work stand-alone as an endorsed brand mark. Typefaces and colours were in alignment with their corporate guidelines, elevating their secondary brand colour orange to a more prominent position. The key design evolution was taking their corporate ‘chevron’ and using it in a modular pattern of overlapping solid and keyline chevrons, to convey collective motion (and as a reference to their large fleet of vehicles delivering directly to building sites). We then developed a multi-channel campaign centred on the concept “A breeze from start to finish” and wrote a long-form editorial to provide source copy for all elements, including nine key USPs.

After a pre-launch teaser campaign, we developed the launch materials. We created internal engagement materials to ensure all staff were fully versed in Brymec Breeze by launch day, including printed flyers, e-shots, intranet posts and battlecards. The external launch was spearheaded by an eDM campaign tailored to three individual audiences supplemented by an innovative printed DM piece in a slipcover timed to arrive on the same day. Both broke with industry convention and prominently featured people, as did our landing page design, for which we also provided SEO support. We also produced a comprehensive explainer video which also provided cut-downs, print ads, social media ads including LinkedIn conversation ads, and more. Brymec made good use of our templates, producing numerous native social media posts and collateral in alignment with our campaign.
